2026 Suicide Awareness Convoy Hounours Jordan Liberty
Through the magic of the internet, Jordan was recently remembered at the 2026 Suicide Awareness Convoy and All Wheels Show in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
Organiser Deenice Warner, who established the annual fundraiser after her teenaged daughter Nicole died by suicide, reached out and invited Jordan to be honoured as part of this year’s fundraising convoy – an event that raised an incredible $39,000 USD for youth mental health in the local community.
It’s hard to put into words what it means to have Jordan remembered in this way, on the other side of the world.
At the event, trophies are awarded by young people themselves, with each one created in honour of a young person lost to suicide. This year, Jordan from Australia was one of those young people remembered.
As beautiful as it was to see a community come together to support youth mental health, it was also heartbreaking. Every trophy represents a beautiful young person no longer here. Every trophy represents a family, friends, and a community trying to make sense of the complex realities of suicide, grief, and mental health.
Just as we continue to miss Jordan every day, so too are there countless others carrying grief while trying to find a way forward.
It is such an important reminder that there is still so much work to do as communities – to keep talking about mental health, to create safe spaces for honest conversations, and to remind one another that we are loved, valued, and never truly alone.
