Last week I had the privilege of attending the Suicide Prevention Australia National Conference in Sydney.

The Jordan Liberty Project is officially endorsed by Suicide Prevention Australia, and it means a lot to have their support. Thanks to a bursary, I was able to attend this year for the first time, and hear firsthand about the challenges and opportunities facing the sector as we all work to reduce deaths by suicide in Australia, especially in regional communities like Broken Hill.

It’s a complex space. There are so many people doing incredibly important work.

It was valuable to be able to share both the Jordan Liberty Documentary Project and the Peaceful Place Project, and to connect with leaders and organisations who are committed to creating real change.

I’ve come away from the conference with new ideas, new connections, and I believe that these conversations and partnerships will continue to grow and support our community into the future.
