The spirit of the Far West was on full display throughout July and August as the community rallied behind The Jordan Liberty Project, raising vital funds and awareness for youth mental health in the outback.
Local events and small acts of generosity have continued to grow into something remarkable. Amy and Imy’s Bake Sale was a huge success, raising $1,600 through homemade cakes, slices, and cookies, and even more importantly, sparking heartfelt conversations in our community.
At the same time, the 48-Hour Fitness Challenge saw participants push themselves physically and emotionally in honour of Jordan and young people everywhere doing it tough. Over one incredible weekend, the challenge raised more than $3,000, showing just how strong this community’s heart truly is.
The Milparinka Tourism and Heritage Association also stepped forward with generosity, donating $5 from every museum entry in July, bringing their total contribution to an inspiring $5,000 so far.
Together, these efforts are helping fund time-sensitive filming, post-production, and impact activities that are already changing lives. Every dollar and every act of support helps the project continue its mission: helping young people see that healing is possible, that their stories matter, and that they are not alone.
We still need your help to keep Jordan’s project moving forward. If you can, please donate, or share the project with your friends, workplace, or community group to help us reach more people and continue making a difference.
