The Jordan Liberty Project attends MHPARC’s first birthday celebration.

The Jordan Liberty Project was honoured to be invited to the first birthday celebration of the Broken Hill Mental Health Prevention and Rehabilitation Centre (MHPARC).

The event brought together service providers, community members, and advocates to reflect on the Centre’s achievements over its first year and to celebrate the positive impact it has had on local mental health and wellbeing.

It was a great opportunity to catch up with familiar faces, share progress on The Jordan Liberty Project, and join meaningful conversations about community connection, prevention, and recovery. Guests enjoyed a relaxed barbecue and plenty of heartfelt discussion about the importance of talking openly about mental health.

Jason King said, “It is so important that we keep creating spaces like this, where people feel safe to talk, connect, and support each other. We are really grateful to the MHPARC team for the invitation and for the incredible work they do every day.”
